GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


The content of the pages of our website is for your general information and use only and is subject to change without notice.

The Lottie Loves Vintage web site is aimed at providing an online shopping portal for the Lottie Loves Vintage business.

Lottie Loves Vintage provides this web site on an "as is" basis and as such accepts no responsibility for any errors, which will be unintentional.

Goods will only be delivered to Great Britain and Northern Ireland addresses.

All orders are subject to product availability.

All sizes and measurements are approximate.

Products images shown will not be actual size and will depend on your monitor's display size and resolution.

Colours reproduced are as accurate as electronic processes allow.

All prices are Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate.

All items will be supplied in our own packaging.

This site is governed exclusively by English Law.

Once you have completed an online purchase, you will receive an email confirming the order details. (This is not a confirmation that we have accepted the order). We will take payment for your order immediately and once payment has cleared and stock checks have been passed then we will dispatch your order to you. It is at this point that a contract will exist between you and us under these terms and conditions.


VINTAGE ITEMS


All vintage items contain authentic vintage pieces obtained from a variety of sources that are carefully selected for their quality and appearance. As with all vintage jewellery some items will show signs of wear - we have pointed out these 'blemishes' as best we can. Most, however serve to enhance the timeless qualities of these pieces.


BESPOKE SERVICE


Bespoke items are made to individual specifications and as such cannot be resold by us should the order be cancelled. As such a 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the purchase has been made. The remaining balance is payable on completion of the item prior to delivery.


PAYMENT 


We use Paypal for all our online payments so that you can be reassured that all transactions are secure.

As well as Paypal account payments we accept most major credit & debit cards as payment through Paypal.

After 'Buy Now', check your order details, then press 'Proceed to Checkout' then follow the instructions to pay via credit or debit card.

We also accept bank transfer & cheque payments (Cheques will need to be cleared before and order can be considered as made).


OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU


We guarantee to manufacture our products to the highest quality standards without defects. However, hand-made products by their very nature contain slight variations from one product to the next which should be allowed for. Usually these slight variations add to the individuality of your purchase. Our guarantee is additional to and does not affect your statutory rights.

DELIVERY TIMES


Original Vintage’ & ‘Vintage Jewellery’ items are in stock ready to purchase therefore please allow 4-5 working days for delivery.

Bespoke items can take up to 12 weeks to complete due to sourcing components and the added communication prior to the start of the manufacture. As such there is no standard delivery time for bespoke items.

All other items are individually made to order so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

‘Rush Orders’ – The delivery date is negotiated at the time of confirmation of the order.


POSTAGE CHARGES 


Note: International customers must contact us in advance to receive an invoice with correct postal/shipping charges. The P&P charges listed on our site are for UK delivery only. International customers are responsible for all customs charges applicable in their country of purchase.

Within the UK, all items under the value of £46.00 are sent First Class Recorded (except those with a value of less than £5.00 which are sent normal first class delivery).

We use the Special Delivery option for items over £46.00 as this will ensure that your items are insured up to the value of £500.

Lottie Loves Vintage does not take any responsibility for late delivery of items or items that go astray in the post (we keep proof of postage with tracking number for every item sent and this will be sent to the customer to claim a refund from the Post Office in the event of non-delivery.).

Postage and packing charges (for UK customers) are detailed under the item price, these can be summarised as follows: 

UK First class recorded delivery (small) £3.95.

UK First class recorded delivery (large) £5.95.

UK Special Delivery on all items over £46.00 is £8.95.

European Postage: Small - 9.00, Large - £12.00.

International Postage: Small - £12.00, Large - £15.00.

All items will require a signature upon delivery. If you are unable to sign for your package it will be returned to your local Royal Mail sorting office and held for 7 days for recorded delivery and 3 weeks for special delivery and international signed for. If a package is returned to Lottie Loves Vintage because delivery was not possible the cost of re-sending the package will be the responsibility of the customer.

RETURNS


In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your goods we must be notified within 2 days of you receiving your order. The goods must then be received by us within 10 days of notification.

All returned goods must be returned in their original condition in the original packaging by recorded delivery signed for to qualify for a refund. We will not accept returns after the 10 day period. Please return to address on return label on your package (Lottie Loves Vintage, The Workshop, 28 Rufford Road, Edwinstowe, Notts. NG21 9HY) and mark RETURNS with your name enclosed (or the name of the person on the payment account) so we can trace your account.

International customers must also notify us within 2 days if they wish to return an item. All items must be returned via Airmail using a tracked postage option, (note customers will also be responsible for any customs charges imposed). Return items must be posted back to us within FIVE days of original receipt (the tracking option allows us to identify the date a package was dispatched). Please mark RETURNS in order to avoid additional customs charges.

On receipt of the goods a full refund will be issued less postage and packing fees as these are a direct cost to us.

Refunds cannot be given for stationery. It is important that you check thoroughly any proof items that we supply for errors in details as these cannot be rectified by us without incurring further charges once the full order is supplied.

Refunds will not be given for used/damaged goods or goods returned after the date of your event/wedding. We have the right to refuse returns if we suspect that our returns policy is being abused. All returns will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the goods.

The cost of return postage will be met by you. The goods must be in the original condition together with their original packing in order for a full refund.
